The Ponds only started going up in 2007, when Frasers Property released the first stages along the Second Ponds Creek corridor.

Almost every house on The Ponds Boulevard and Riverbank Drive is the same age: post-2007 brick veneer on a compact block, built fast during one long run of construction.

That uniform age cuts both ways. There's little of the corroded galvanised pipe older suburbs deal with.

But the earliest hot water systems from those 2007 to 2010 releases are now around fifteen years old, and they're starting to fail without warning.
