Common questions

Pricing, Quotes and the $65 Off

Do you charge a call-out fee?

No. It's $0 call-out whether the job goes ahead or not, and we'll always give you a free quote before deciding anything. The only thing you pay for is work you've actually agreed to.

What does the $65 off your first service cover?

It's $65 off whatever your first job with us turns out to be, taken off automatically when you book. There's no separate code to remember and no fine print excluding certain jobs.

Why isn't the lowest price your main focus?

Because the lowest quote on paper doesn't always give the best outcome once corners get cut on parts or workmanship. We focus on a fair price, proper licensed work, and a warranty that actually means something if something goes wrong later.

Does the price change once you start?

No. The quote you approve before we start is what lands on the invoice. If something genuinely bigger turns up once we're into the job, we stop and talk to you before doing anything more, rather than surprising you afterwards.

Common questions

Licensed, Insured and Done Properly

Does the warranty cover more than just labour?

It's a labour warranty specifically, covering our workmanship for the life of the repair. Manufacturer warranties on parts and units are separate, and we'll always let you know what's covered by which one at the time.

Who is responsible for a blocked sewer, me or Sydney Water?

It depends where the blockage sits. Everything from your house up to the property's connection point is yours to fix; past that, it's Sydney Water's infrastructure, not ours. We'll always tell you plainly which side of that line your problem sits on.

Can I fix a plumbing emergency myself?

Some basics are fine, like turning off the water at the meter or leaving a gas leak alone and calling us. Anything involving fixed pipework, drainage or gas connections needs a licensed plumber under NSW law, and it's not worth the risk of getting it wrong.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, fully. NSW plumbing licence #465156C, licensed gas fitters too, and fully insured for the work we do. Look up verify.licence.nsw.gov.au to confirm it.

Common questions

How Fast We Get to You

Do you work weekends and public holidays?

Yes, every day of the week including weekends and public holidays. Plumbing emergencies don't check the calendar, so neither do we.

How do I book?

Call (02) 9073 7962 for the fastest response, especially for anything urgent. Our contact page works too if calling isn't convenient right now.

Are you really available 24/7?

Yes. A real person answers the phone day or night, not an automated system, and we aim to get someone moving on your job the same day where we can.

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

Anything where water, sewage or gas is actively causing damage or risk right now: a burst pipe, sewage backing up, no hot water on a cold morning, or any gas smell. A slow drip can usually hold until your next convenient booking.

Common questions

Working In and Around The Ponds

How local are you, really?

We're on call across The Ponds and the suburbs immediately around it every week, not as an occasional trip from somewhere else. It's a normal part of our regular run.

Do you take on local new builds and renovation work?

Yes. With so much of The Ponds built from 2007 onward, a lot of our work here is exactly that: recent-build plumbing, renovation add-ons, and fixing the odd rushed fitting from the original build.

Why does The Ponds still get plumbing emergencies if the homes are newer?

Newer doesn't mean fault-free. The earliest homes here, built from 2007, are old enough now that their original hot water units and some rushed fittings are starting to fail. Winter cold snaps that push heating hard tend to be when it shows up most.

Do you only work in The Ponds itself?

No, though The Ponds is central to how we're organised, from the streets around Jonas Bradley Oval and The Ponds High School through to Stanhope Gardens, Kellyville, Schofields, Box Hill and Rouse Hill.
